Job Description

Renaissance Personnel  in partnership with  TransForm (TSSO)  is currently recruiting for :  HIS Adoption Support (Hospital Information System)
We are currently recruiting for  tech savvy  individuals  who have the ability to train and   coach  – Doctors, Nurses, Non-Medical Staff on a  new system they are implementing in the Windsor Hospitals.
Support staff  will not  be expected to know and support all aspects of the new system, but rather have a good understanding in certain key areas of the system assigned to your role.
You would be expected to provide support to troubleshoot navigation and other issues within the system and would report larger issues to the E – Volve Command Centre for resolution.
You would be helping them build confidence, reassure and guide those who are struggling using the new system .
You would also be expected to follow the process to trouble shoot issues, document, communicate and share information at shift change
Employment Type:

  • Temporary Contract
  • Paid Training –approximately 3 weeks
  • Onsite – approximately 4 weeks based on healthcare needs
  • Period: March 1st to April 30th 2021 ( to be determined )
  • Go- live has been tentatively scheduled for April 11, 2021
  • 12 hour shifts ( days and evenings) includes weekends & holidays, possible overtime
  • Must be available for shift Sunday through Saturday – minimum 30 hours per week
  • Rate of pay starts at $18.95 per hour – TSSO will determine – dependent on proven background and experience
  • Paid travel if you are traveling from outside of Windsor area
  • Cell Phone Reimbursement-$20.00 per month
  • Vulnerable Clearance Check – expenses will be reimbursed
  • Communicable Disease Clearance – expenses will be reimbursed

  • Own computer with camera and speaker
  • Internet
  • Smart phone – internet will be provided by hospital when working on site ($20 / month stipend)
  • Be available for all virtual training within 3 weeks training period – Monday through Friday – 37.5 hours /week
  • Pass your criminal and communicable checks – both must be started within the training period
  • You must have the ability to work in a public hospitals with hazardous diseases, and deal with very difficult situations (example: death, chaos, all range of emotions, stress/ pressure) continuously
  • Must be able to wear all PPE (surgical masks, face shields, safety goggles/glasses, gowns, non-latex gloves, etc.)
  • Must be tolerable to continuous sanitation practices – frequent hand washing using soap and sanitizers
  • Must have post-secondary education preferably in Health Care
  • Must be able to work at our two Windsor Regional Hospitals
