Position Summary:Reporting to the Senior Manager, Pork Planning and Scheduling, the Customer Service Specialist provides order management and sales support throughout Canada. The role is responsible for the management and coordination of orders from confirmation to delivery through direct interactions with Planning, Sales, Manufacturing, Traffic and QA and External Service Supplier (as necessary) teams to ensure the fulfillment of Customer requirements. End Date of Contract: December 31st, 2021Key Accountabilities:Coordination with the Production and Logistics teams to ensure daily customer requirements are being met;Manage order entry / claims management for a defined group or segment of accounts;Develop and maintain business relationship with Customers and Sales while providing excellent Customer Service;Provide data to Sales, including, but not limited to, pricing, order status, holds issues, backorders, freight quotes, order consolidation, and delivery information;Collaborate with Sales, Planning, Credit, Customer Service Management, Logistics and the Customer to resolve outstanding order management issues;Up sell available surplus product to customer replenishment teams as required;Represent the company and its products to the marketplace as safe and wholesome food products by having a basic understanding and ability to communicate the Fearmans food safety system;Act as the voice of customer back to Sofina Foods Fresh Pork Manufacturing to communicate any customer specific requirements relating to Food Safety.Requirements:Outstanding communication skills: verbal, written and listening.Effective data collection and analytical skills;Ability to effectively sell ideas or other intangibles through communication and persuasion skills;Must be pro-active, able to take the initiative and operate independently;Able to prioritize multiple tasks to make effective use of time;Experience with AS400 would be considered an asset;Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.Sofina Foods Inc. is committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (‘AODA’).
