The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering calls and emails from the clients. These calls and emails generally consist of purchase orders, pricing inquiries, and general product questions. The first 3-6 weeks of the job while they are training will consist mostly of order entry. This will be done using Microsoft Dynamics AX which is the new ERP system. Once they are trained the majority of the day will consist of answering emails and some calls. For the majority of the year, client outreach is done via email approximately 80% of the time unless it’s busy season and communications are more urgent. Busy season is October to February.

– Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
– Someone who shows a lot of initiative
– Someone who is a quick learner and able to learn a mechanical/complex product quickly
– Someone who is capable of handling stress well, this position can become chaotic in busy-season (Oct – Feb)
