CSR”s report to the Customer Service and Logistics Manager and are responsible for all administrative activities that support the coordination and delivery of concrete. This individual will need to ensure proper system utilization, as well as consistent process management related to daily scheduling and ticketing. The Customer Service Representative will need to work closely with the customer as well as sales and logistics to achieve effective customer service.This is a seasonal position.Adhere to all Lafarge safety policies and proceduresSupport a safe office work environment as well as supporting field safety programsResponsible for consistent and reliable customer service from order placement through deliveryProactive outgoing calls to customers to advise of any delays in delivery, to ensure orders are received in a timely manner and to improve customer serviceField customer complaints and follow up in a timely, professional mannerMaintain strong working relationships with our internal Sales, Operation, and Logistic teamsMaintain a positive, open work environment; this includes excellent communication and strong working relationships with your peersSupport continuous improvement; challenge any process that does not meet overall objectivesHave a flexible schedule; this position will require an individual to work different shifts as well as the potential to take calls after hoursSupport other functions within the Logistics team as requiredResults/Accountabilities:Promote Lafarge brand and products.Meet and exceed sales and service objectives in assigned territory.Identify and be responsive to all customer needs – solution-based selling.Track and report market information pertaining to customer, projects and competitor activities.Implement daily service strategies.Promote the safety culture within Lafarge and with contractors that work with Lafarge.Strong drive for creativity and innovation is required for this role.
