We have our eye out for an enthusiastic COO with strong leadership skills and the ability to approach business from a creative point of view. With global potential, this expansion position will balance strategic initiatives and workingwith the CEO on short-term and long-term vision yet, has a roll up the sleeves approach. As COO, you bring leadership with operations/production/facilities depth as well as being able to lead customer care, business development, and HR initiatives. Overall the COO helps drive business transformation and evolution by acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and is responsible for spearheading overall business operations and optimizing its operational capabilities, to ensure alignment with market growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives. The COO is responsible for: Building internal and external stakeholder relationships Works with the CEO on sourcing and analyzes future business and investment opportunities including joint ventures. Oversees Leadership of Operations, Business Development, HR, and Production/Facilities. Ensures all functions are aligned with their business strategy, priorities, and long-term plan. As a key member of the leadership team, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a confident leader responsible for the overall operations platformand is responsible for setting the long-term growth strategies to achieve business KPIs for revenue, profitability, performance, and growth. Objectives of this Role Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs within several business units Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual sales and operating planning Oversee company operations, efficiencies in the production kitchen, process of product development and employee productivity Building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met Ensure effective professional development, performance management, and retention for operational/production employees Adhere to company and business requirements, enforcing compliance and taking action when necessary Daily and Monthly Responsibilities Analyze internal operations and identify areas of process improvement Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the CEO Directly oversee operations and partner with the CEO on sales management to budget for sufficient investment capital to achieve growth targets over the near term Create and maintain monthly financial statements and coordinate the import of historical information into corporate forecast Assist in creating financial reports for the management team and BOD Monitor monthly cash needs Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure the company achieves investor targets relative to growth and profitability Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting Formulate and approve promotional campaigns Maintain and build trusted relationships with key customers, clients, partners, and stakeholders Requirements Bachelors degree in business administration, or related field 5+ years experience in executive leadership positions Food Industry/Manufacturing Experience Leadership skills, with steadfast resolve and personal integrity Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues How to Apply: Please email your resume, cover letter, and total remuneration expectations to: Discoverwhatwehavetooffer… AllanWelyk President & Director ELEVATESearch Group 6th Floor -777 Hornby Street Vancouver, BC V6Z 1S4 Email:allan@elevatesearchgroup.com Web: www.elevatesearchgroup.com Follow Elevate:www.twitter.com/ElevateSearch People.Solutions.Culture.Results.
