In turn, we offer an environment that fosters a people-first culture with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.Our Greater Toronto Area offices (Oakville, Markham & Toronto) are looking for a Consultant, Grants & Incentives to join our Government Incentives team and own the following responsibilities:Engage clients to develop strong business cases to successfully access funding for their innovation and growth initiativesParticipate in all stages of the grant application process, including interviewing clients, structuring projects, establishing technical eligibility, preparing business case and project financials, and collecting supporting documentationManage relationships with funding agencies and establish effective interactions to support application review processEstablish consultative process with clients to comprehensively identify funding needsDevelop and refine written communications and documentation for funding applicationsCommunicate with the team and clients to gather and analyze informationResearch sources of grant funding at the Regional, Provincial and Federal levels and prepare internal and external communications to raise awareness of funding opportunitiesCoordinate and produce proposal responses to RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFT, etc.) opportunities – this includes facilitating proposal kick-off meetings, managing proposal deadlines, writing and coordinating content, complying with our quality management processes, and owning the final productMeet proposal/application deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, meetings, approvals, etc.Establish and follow meticulous work plans to ensure timely delivery of proposalsEstablish project budgets and manage team work efforts to meet targetsFollow proposal/application-writing standards and maintain proposal support databasesObtain approvals by reviewing applications with key providers and project managersCoordinate grant applications by working collaboratively with team members and clients located across the countryHow do we define success for your role?
