Job Description

Marlin Spring is a Toronto-based real estate investment firm which strategically acquires, develops, constructs and repositions residential assets throughout North America. Since 2013, Marlin Spring has seen substantial growth having acquired over 30 residential projects, consisting of over 8,600 residential units which are currently in various stages of development, construction repositioning and completion across Canada and the United States. Marlin Spring is an active investor in both development and the multifamily residential sector and has an extensive team of real estate professionals involved in all aspects of the acquisition, development, construction and asset management of its portfolio.

 THE ROLE:

The role will involve actively managing trades while repositioning and renovating properties to a higher standard.  The subject candidate will report directly to the asset manager and assist with the execution of the business plan.

 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

 Managing all contractors and trades by monitoring and controlling performance and quality.

  • Maintaining a safe, secure and healthy work environment.
  • Scheduling and coordination of projects; evaluating and resolving on an as-need basis to meet tight budgets and deadlines.

 IN THIS ROLE, YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH:

 Asset Managers.

  • All of the contractors and trades hired for various projects.
  • Operating team members.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bi-lingual; good command of French and English ‘both written and verbal.
  • Project management/site supervision background.
  • Construction background, preferably ‘multifamily’ renovation experience.
  • Construction management, engineering or architectural background would be considered an assets.
