The Portfolio Management Development team is responsible for the high performance platform on which other teams build intelligent investment systems.What You Will DoThe System Developer plays an essential role through innovative technologies. In this role, you will:Collaborate with the team to analyze technology issuesDesign, plan, and implement solutions to identified problemsCommunicate with the data management team and complete JIRA requestsUse and enhance large-scale high performance time series kdb databasesMaintain and oversee the software life cycleInnovate underlying infrastructure systems to add value across the firmKeep systems running smoothly through enhancements and supportWhat You Will BringExperience: You have a minimum of 3 years- experience in a similar role (preferred but not required). Institutional investment firm experience is an asset.Knowledge: You have an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or similar.Problem Solving Skills: You possess an analytical mind, enjoy solving problems, and have an ability to perform deep thoughtful analysis to discover solutions.Tech Savvy: You are familiar with programming languages (Kdb+/Q, Java, C#, Python, Powershell) but not a must.
