We have a unique opportunity for someone to contribute their talents and strengths as a Project Manager in our Toronto office.A ROLE YOU WILL LOVEThis position will be responsible for managing, researching, documenting, and implementing small to large sized projects and will report into the Program Manager under Business Services PMO. The projects will be aligned with the CEO strategy or can be in support of additional business line CEO’s strategies when impacted in the region. These projects are designed to generate additional revenue, reduce costs, and/or mitigate risk while maintaining a strategic business focus.Major will include managing projects involving business line specific initiatives as well as collaborative projects with other business lines, across multiple departments, countries, and/or functions. Effective application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet the project requirements is essential.The role is fully responsible for tracking end-to-end project lifecycle and ensuring that standard practices, processes and technology are used in the management of all projects undertaken, including:Develop and/or update Project Management and Implementation Plans.Establish and execute a project charter, communication plan.Schedule and facilitate meetings related to projects.Identify appropriate resources needed.Perform Risk Assessments, response strategies and Impact analysis.Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.Monitor, track, and report on project status, milestones and deliverables.Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.Develop implementation plans that include analyses such as cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI).The role has no formal supervisory duties, but may be expected to mentor staff and lead project team consisting of members of business units and may assign individual responsibilities related to the project/initiative.As well, will be required to perform analysis of business processes or operations in order to develop new or modified information processing systems and to work as a liaison among stakeholders to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the organization, to recommend solutions that enable the organization to meet its goals.Creates or assists others in the writing of user documentation, instructions, and procedures.Liaise, consult and coordinate business units with systems analysts, programmers who design and develop automated business systems.A COMPANY TO BE PROUD OFAt Computershare we invite you to share our vision and commitment to excellence in everything that we do.
