We have a unique opportunity for someone to contribute their talents and strengths as a Communications Consultant in our Toronto office.A role you will loveThe Communications Consultant is charged with delivering a consulting service using communications to solve customer business problems and find revenue generating opportunities for the CCS business.The role develops knowledge and understanding between the customer and CCS, to enable the tailoring of solutions to improve the customer-s business; and create insights forproposition development. The role involves working with a range of stakeholders including CCS management, sales, solutions, relationship management and technology teams to develop and benchmark relevant best practice approaches, executing the Computershare methodology, continual development of sales and consulting assets, and designing projects and overseeing their delivery.The role contributes to positioning CCS as an advisor to customers to improve their engagement with their investors, customers and employees.Major Build pipeline – build confidence with relationship managers and account directors to gain opportunity to engage with customers and prospects, develop and price proposals, track and report on revenue and results.Revenue – collaborate with sales on business development and building annuity revenue; collaborate with the customer on scope and project conceptualisation so that a quote can be provided that is acceptable, then to work within budget and scope to maintain profitability.Conceptualise projects review business problems and objectives with customers, conceptualise and design projects to solve them, recommend budgets and timing.Strategic oversight – develop strategic communication plans and quality insight reports and recommendations to deliver on customers CX or Marketing strategies and relate them to business objectives and outcomes.Project collaboration Collaborate with the internal and customer-based project cross functional consulting team that includes the project manager, developers, business analysts and creative SME-s to. Responsible for providing strategic solution recommendations, briefing their development and sign off.Stakeholder Management work with customers to solve their communication challenges and manage direct contact with all levels within their business. Identify and pursue business opportunities with potential and existing customers. Assist with strategic vendor partnership assessment and briefing where required.What will you bring to the role? Content development – can imagine the customer experience required and create and direct creation of relevant content prototypes to support that experience, writing copy, overseeing copywriters and visual designers and collaborating with solution designers.Presentation skills – confidently presents to senior stakeholder and leads the team in joint presentationsAnalytical skills – Synthesize data and analytics and provide summary interpretation of what it means and how the data helps measure achievement of the brand promiseDetail focused – is cognisant of accommodating the complexity of communication in highly regulated industries.Workshop facilitation – confidently leads in person and online, holding the room with firm control, responding calmly to unexpected responses.Stakeholder engagement – builds trusted relationships to navigate road-blocks and unravel political barriers.Education/TrainingCommunications, CX, Marketing Degree or other related qualification.5 years- experience in customer facing consulting role(s)Acting as a change agent driving innovation and change to processes or systems within a customer-s environment.Demonstrated experience in problem identification and requirements gathering; clarifying and managingscope.Formulating and presenting high-quality evidence-based insights.Working with a technology company, communications business or agency with exposure to corporate customers in financial services, insurance and/or utilities sectors.Working in customer and employee experience evaluation and design.Experience briefing an agency or external provider on specific project objectives will support an occasional requirement to further develop CX research such as: identifying specific experiences ideal to their customer journey; recommending scripts for conducting user research/interviews and data analysis.TravelIt is expected that this position may include travel up to 10% of the time.
