We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Clinician to join our Mental Health & Substance Use department based out of New Westminster.
Build on your education and experience as you:

    •Facilitates clients” utilization of appropriate community services and rehabilitative programs (such as alcohol and drug treatment, vocational programs, Mental Health Centres, clubhouses, transition homes, community groups, Occupational Therapists, Recreational therapists, Psychiatrists etc.) by performing duties such as researching available services, liaising with these agencies, providing related advice and consultation to clients and staff. •Facilitate hospital admission when required. •Inform staff, community groups, and agencies of the role and function of both teams by providing information formally during in-services.

Successful Applicant Has:

    •Master’s degree in Social Work or Clinical Counselling •Two (2) years’ recent, related experience in a community or hospital psychiatric setting, or in a rapid response crisis stabilization function •Eligible for registration with appropriate professional association. •Valid B.C. Drivers license and access to own vehicle with appropriate business coverage.
