Job Description
The Clinical Nurse Educator integrates skills and knowledge from nursing theory and principles of adult learning in the provision of clinical problem solving, education, program development and research for acute/emergency or home care patients and/or programs. The incumbent will provide leadership that is visible, pro-active, and promotes the delivery of patient care through the application of practice standards. In consultation with the Manager of Community Parmedicine, the individual is responsible for assessing learning needs of staff, planning, and implementing and evaluating designated educational activities/programs either program-based and/or region wide. The Clinical Nurse Educator will use a consultative approach and research findings to provide support to health-care professionals as appropriate.

Experience
3 years acute/emergency or home care nursing experience required.Previous work in program planning and Community Paramedicine is preferred.
