Strengths: Be present and attentive, ensuring each resident receives care tailored to their needs, as determined by your supervisor Foster relationships with residents and families and provide support and professional insights for both residents and their families Help residents meet their daily care needs and longer-term goals Respect and promote the dignity, choices, and individuality of each of the seniors under your care Responsibilities: Able to work with Independent, Assisted Living, Long-term Care including Memory Care Residents Recognize clients as individuals with unique cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs Respectfully respond to scheduled and unscheduled requests from clients for assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and treatments at times that respect client choice (as outlined in the Care Plan) Report critical incidents and unusual occurrences to your designated supervisor Participate in the delivery of social, recreational, and therapeutic programs such as group activities, outings, special events, communal impromptu gatherings, and the coordination of spontaneous opportunities for being social Take initiative in organizing unscheduled social and recreational opportunities wherever possible (i.e. card games, movies, gardening, etc.).
