As a Business Development Partner/Account Manager -Tech you will be responsible from developing new business in Toronto and surrounding area by utilizing your network,identifying target companies and contacts within the many verticals that our companyfocuses on. Your focus is to aggressively pursuenew accounts withthepurpose of developinglong termbusiness relationships with clients. Job Responsibilities: Represent our recruitment services to executives at new clients/potential clients. Search and identify target companies and contacts with a purpose of developinga long-termbusiness relationship. Cold-call target-market contacts to obtain an active job order and developa long-termbusiness relationship. Provide top quality services to maintain and grow client accounts. Close a required number of accounts every month and quarter. Consistent growth in business with respective client accounts and steady pipeline growth. Understand each job order clearly with technical and experience expectations. Represent destinationoneTechin industry networking events, establish and build business relationships with target-market contacts. Think outside-the-box and find creative solutions to business development obstacles. Creativelyutilize social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) to its full extent for business development andrelationship buildingpurposes. Requirements Strong understanding of and seasoned experience in thetechrecruitmentindustry with an existing wide-network. Confident, persistent, enthusiastic, a self-starter and independent. Passion and drive for outside sales. Professional with excellent presentation and communication skills. 3+ years of relevant experience in tech recruitment and equivalent sales experience. Ability to develop and close business of $2-3 million and above annually. Good knowledge of technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP and other leading technology vendor products. Experience working with IT leaders and hiring managers in Canada. Bachelors degree is preferred. The Business Development Partner role is very exciting but challenging. Youll need to have thick skin and the abilityto manage the daily stress of acquiring new clients and meeting expectations. You must be able to thrive under pressure and excel in a fast-pace, sales-oriented andentrepreneurialwork environment.
