Job Description

As a Business Development Executive, you will be selling Technology Consulting & Staffing services to Medium to Enterprise businesses across Canada. The base salary is $70,000 – $100,000 plus uncapped commissions, health benefits and other perks!

 

THE COMPANY & CULTURE

Our client was founded in 2004, till now there are 30+ employees here in Toronto head office. The founding partners of this client had all worked at multiple Big Five Consulting firms. They have all seen the switcheroo that involved fantastic sales pitches and the promise of the A-Team followed by an overpriced C-Team with very little experience. The partners founded a Technology Consulting/Staffing service company focused on doing better. With no compromise, they have kept true to that focus for the last 10 years!

 

THE LOCATION 

  • Head Office – North York, ON
  • The is a work from home/office position 

 

THE POSITION

As a Business Development Executive, you will be selling Technology Consulting & Staffing services to Medium to Enterprise businesses across Canada. You will be building long-term relationships with PMO, Procurement, IT Director and Hiring Managers within the IT umbrella.

 

THE PRODUCT / SERVICE 

  • IT Contract Staffing Service

 

PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS

  • PMO, Procurement, IT Director and Hiring Managers within the IT umbrella.

 

SALES CYCLE & PRODUCT VALUE

  • Service Value – Depends on billable hours – IT contractors can be 80-150/hr bill to the client 
  • Sales Cycle – 1 to 6 weeks – depending on the type of role

 

TYPICAL DAY & DUTIES

  • Prospecting/Lead Generation – 25%
  • Cold Calling – 10%
  • Presenting/Closing – 25%
  • Account Management/Upselling – 20%
  • Administrative Duties – 20%

 

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • $70,000 to $100,000 Base Salary, plus un-capped/residual commission
  • OTE in the first year is $140K+

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & BACKGROUND

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Must have IT Staffing sales experience – demonstrated experiences within Ontario

 

EDUCATION

  • Post-secondary education or professional experience equivalent
