As a member of our M&A team, you will drive our acquisition activities by sourcing and analyzing acquisitions of vertical-market software companies with a focus on North America and Europe:

  • Identify vertical-market software businesses that meet our acquisition criteria and metrics
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities in our M&A CRM database
  • Initiate outbound prospecting calls and emails to connect with target companies
  • Develop and nurture relationships with business owners, management teams, and professional advisors
  • Attend industry events and travel to prospect meetings
  • Analyze target company financial/operational information and prepare detailed valuation models
  • Provide support in later stages of the acquisition process (offers, letter of intents, due diligence) as required

You are driven to perform, are results-oriented, have an attention for detail and are willing to work variable hours autonomously. You have an interest in building a career in business development and M&A, and have strong communication skills and a knack for cold-calling businesses. Not just picking up the phone and cold-calling a company, but being able to penetrate the “gatekeeper” and directly connect with the key stakeholder to quickly establish a strong rapport. You are proactive, persistent, intelligent and efficient. You enjoy finding ways to reach out to prospects and find it rewarding to connect with them to share your offering. You are a collaborative individual, who can work easily with a team.


  • 3-5 years of experience in inside sales or business development in a fast-paced and analytically driven organization
  • Distinguished academic performance with an undergraduate degree in business (MBA or CPA is considered an asset but not required)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven research, analytical, and financial modeling skills
  • Flexibility, adaptability persona with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with firm deadlines
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Team player who enjoys a high-performance culture
  • Willing and able to travel internationally on occasion
