Business Consultants will have experience leading multi-discipline or single discipline teams in a business initiative to design and align new business systems with business processes, and have created and followed a change management plan to move from an as is state to the to be state; where they reported to senior managers, and had managers and senior technical and business staff assigned to the project contracted to or reporting to them, and where they managed effective communications with project stakeholders at all levels from diverse business units. Job Responsibilities: Developing the change management strategy and plans, Managing the implementation of change management plans, Coordinating and settingchange management activities and priorities, Supporting and coaching project team, sponsor and other leaders who have change management/championship roles. Completing Change Management Deliverables focused on: impacts of the change created by the project, stakeholder mapping and risk assessments Strategizeand Plan to mitigate risks ApplyingChange Management analysis to project deliverables. Reporting change management status to the Project Manager Knowledge sharing with project team members supporting the change process. Requirements A minimum of 7 years of recent experience working in organizational change management and transition at senior levels and preferably in the health or public sector; A minimum of 3 years within the past 7 years providing services of a similar scope and complexity. Preference may given to proponents who have been involved with organizational/sector level change, with professional groups, or within the health or public sector. Experience assessing and monitoring the impacts of change represented by projects and other initiatives, and ensuring the magnitude of change does not exceed the organizations capacity for change; Experience developing and executing appropriate change management frameworks; Experience designing and implementing communications strategies, plans and collateral related to change and transition phases; Experience resolving internal service relationship issues; Experience in an IM/IT environment; Project Management training would be an asset; One or more of the following educational credentials:Undergraduate degree from an accredited university, Change Management Professional certification (PROSCI or other) is required or Professional designation (e.g. CMC, Lean, PMP, AACI, RI(BC), CBAP) would be an asset Experience working on projects with multi-disciplinary teams (e.g. core business staff, professional employees, middle managers and other private sector contractors) Strong communication skills to lead stakeholders from multiple groups with diverse interests to consensus on project scope, objectives and responsibilities and liaison with Ministry management and staff; Clearly demonstrate experience in managing organization/sector level change involving multiple, diverse stakeholder groups.
