Join our team As Sales Operations Lead on the Business Acquisition team , you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting sales initiatives based on integrated product solutions, service reliability, customer experience excellence, team engagement, and operational efficiency priorities. Working closely with our marketing and operation teams the successful candidate we be equally responsible for business outcomes as well as how they are achieved. Strong integration, cross-functional team leadership coupled with an analytical background is essential for success in this role, as is flexibility and calm in the face of fast-paced work environments and ambiguity. The successful candidate will be a natural collaborator, innovator and problem solver, working with an extensive network of stakeholders within TELUS providing end-to-end support for our team and our customers. Here”s the impact you”ll make and what we”ll accomplish together Your regular activities will include many or all of the following: Direct management of day-to-day sales leads, order flow, escalations Presentations and communication on channel efficiencies, effectiveness and performance Working closely with other internal departments to insure escalations are dealt with efficiently Analyze, manage, and present back to our Business Intelligence team on lead effectiveness Collaboration with the Business Solutions Enablement team to influence the roadmap and evolution of systems and tools to support business targets and objectives Working very closely with our SRT (“Start Right Team”) in driving order efficiencies and delivering on our Customer First commitments Providing business requirements for systems and tools Driving and executing pilots in an agile framework You’re the missing piece of the puzzle You are likely in a similar sales operations position now, with many of the experience points and attributes, below: Solid understanding of B2B sales processes; ideally in a complex solution environment Background of industry knowledge in wireless and wireline products and services Ability to navigate through complex organizational dynamics and use influencing and negotiating skills to create desired outcomes Demonstrated capability of working effectively with cross-functional teams A recognized strength in developing and analyzing sales proposals You have a knack for imparting experiences and providing operational support to an Independent Channel team Excellent organization, planning and time management skills You are adept and confident using a variety of office tools and systems. Spreadsheets, presentation decks, corporate communication tools – for example: Google Suite, MS Office Suite, Skype for Business. Great-to-haves Background or knowledge of TELUS channels and systems Demonstrated success across end-to-end B2B sales processes, driving both new acquisition and growth within existing accounts Experience using SFDC (Safesforce) or similar forecasting and CRM tool Who is TELUS?
