ICONIX is currently looking for aBranch Manager / Supervisorat our Calgarybranch.The successful candidate will have outstanding customer service, organizational and computer skills, be able to learn on the fly, thrive in a multi-tasking environment, and be a team player with a positive personality and strong work ethic.Duties and Responsibilities include:Implementing ICONIX’s procedures and policies; evaluating in-place practices and systems for daily operations; prioritizing work to meet timelines; managing continuous improvement of branch, procedures and operational methods; creating job profiles for new positions and preparing budgets.Performing staff management functions including: Monitoring and resolving on-the-job problems, setting appropriate performance standards, analyzing staffing levels, interviewing and selecting new employees; facilitating staff training, coaching, cross-training and mentoring; performing performance evaluations and salary adjustments; resolving employee concerns, performing disciplinary counseling, and performing terminations with Human Resources assistance.Ensuring all employees are fully trained on safety regulations and coordinating required training with ICONIX and Work Safe Standards. Coordinating and overseeing monthly branch safety meetings.Monitoring branch inventory levels and budget; Maintaining inventory based on re-order levels and order commitments through direct buys.Coordinating buys with head office; Reduces and controls slow and obsolete inventory. Coordinating and executes year-end inventory.Assigning and supervising work of administrative and operational team members.Planning and managing workflow for effective customer service, and efficient product delivery. Ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.Tracking employee attendance and submitting timesheets to payroll.Coordinating staff meetings and communicating branch and corporate changes, updates and initiatives.Monitoring branch’s physical environment ensuring clean and safe environment for customers and employees. Coordinating facility management, maintenance and repairs, building security, building access and equipment maintenance.Providing all necessary reporting to the Regional Manager including: project reports and monthly sales projection reports, and budget reports (EBIT) versus actual sales.Managing branch budget and submits yearly operational budget.Participating in health and safety related duties.The ideal Branch Manager / Supervisorcandidate possesses the following qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field preferred.Seven or more years of related work experience that includes three years’ work experience in the water products industry and three years” management experience; management experience in a wholesale/retail business operations preferred.Ability to lead staff and ability to motivate and lead a team.Strong organizational skills and strong written and verbal communication skillsComputer skills using Microsoft office and the ability to retrieve and enter information from and into a computer database.Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate and interact with customers in a professional manner, ability to build customer relationships and grow businessMust hold a valid driver’s license.A strong commitment to health and safety.Minimum qualifications include passing ICONIX’s background checks, and ability to drive (must be able to provide current driver’s abstract which shows you are in good standing).Interested in a career at ICONIX?
