Company Description

Briza is hard at work creating the most elegant and easy to use infrastructure for connecting insurance carriers with brokers for small business customers – think 'Stripe' but for the insurance industry. We’re creating the first transaction processing rail that enables brokers to offer real time, online, commercial insurance quotes and contracts to small businesses. What we’ve all seen happen to restaurant booking, travel booking, and auto insurance, is now finally coming to the more complex world of commercial insurance. This is the natural evolution of the insurance business into a digitally enabled world. To maximize the utility of this powerful infrastructure, we’re designing and building the most easy to use tools that enable customer facing websites and mobile apps to intelligently accept information, guide an intuitive decision path, generate custom quotes and contracts, and finally accept payment. What used to take days over the phone, email and fax, will now happen in minutes.

We want to work in a company of warm, inclusive people who treat their colleagues exceptionally well. The kind of people who are committed to going out of their way to help others in the short-term and pushing them to improve over the long-term (by helping them to get better at what they do).
