Job Summary: Sells products for manufacturer or distributor to business and industrial establishments or individuals at sales office, store, showroom, or customer's place of business by performing the following duties.
Essential Job Duties:
Be familiar with ATK internal Policies, values, and ATK Quality Policy
Be aware of his/her process/sub process and know related procedures
Provide quality customer service according to product support procedure (P0572001)
Account Management (including): sales of existing product, introduction and sales of new products, product training for account field personnel, customer liaison for problems that develop for accounts payable issue, customer liaison for customer service issue and representing the voice of the customer for new product development, pricing and warranty issues.
Responsible for customer training within an assigned geographic area
Responsible for capturing competitive intelligence regarding our products in the marketplace.
Identify sign and sell new customers in an assigned geographic area
Solicit and present products, and sell to new and existing customers
Be familiar with LKQ product literature and be able to convey product information and availability to customers
Maintain a safe and clean work environment (control of house keeping record R0164001).
Be familiar with ATK’s Code of Safe Work Practices.
Education & Experience: One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:
· This position requires individuals to occasionally be on their feet except when operating machinery, or company vehicle.
Should not have any lifting restrictions and be able to move/lift up to 75 pounds regularly.
They must be able to stand for long periods, sit, walk, push, pull, and bend.
They must be able to climb ladders, stairs and withstand heights of more than 15 feet.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as an office environment.
Should be able to tolerate high and low temperature levels, and occasional inclement driving conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
