Qualifications and Physical/Mental Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both oral and written
Required two (2) years experience supervising 20 or more associates
Two (2) years hotel supervisory or management experience at a 4 or 5 star hotel is preferred
Experience with OPERA, Hot Sos, and Timelox is preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in related field and/or Business Management certification or equivalent experience preferred
Knowledge and experience of the operation of a luxury hotel is preferred
Previous training in guest relations is likewise preferred
The candidate must possess excellent follow up and organizational skills.
The candidate must be able to work flexible and varied schedules including weekends, overnights and holidays.
The candidate must be able to train, mentor, and coach associates using the hotel policies and procedures.
The candidate must also be proactive and have a creative, positive, and focused vision.
Developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures is required.
Maintaining confidentiality and sensitive information is a must.
The position requires frequent walking, excessive standing or sitting and repetitive motions.
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Front Desk which includes performance of Front Office associates by ensuring they function within the guidelines of the Trump Hotel.
The Assistant Front Office Manager is the main contact for guests, associates, and other hotel departments.
This individual must have good leadership qualities and possess the ability to resolve guest problems and associate challenges while maintaining a calm and positive demeanor.
