Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as "Onsite " due to COVID-19 related WFH direction.
Once OPS staff are required to return to the office, the resource under this request will be required to work onsite as well.
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an APPLICATION ARCHITECT.
The selected candidate will be leading the development and creation of a business case and implementation plan of the proect outlined on the requisition description.
This will involve liazing with vendors, IT providers, and internal OPS staff.
Undertake a comprehensive analysis of the WIN database re-platforming options, including a detailed assessment of costs, timelines, benefits, risks and issues associated with each option.
Complete a business case and other required documents (architectural artifacts, etc.) needed to secure approvals to proceed with the recommended option.
Work with internal SME’s to develop a high-level implementation plan.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
10+ years experience in a PeopleSoft HCM application environment; specific experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2
Knowledge of DB2/mainframe database technologies and challenges in a PeopleSoft HCM environment.
Specific hands on experience planning and leading a DB2/Mainframe to Oracle replatforming.
Experience creating and executing a data migration strategy specific to DB2/Mainframe to Oracle databases.
Proficiency in cloud technologies and service models.
Experience creating Project charters, plans and strategies in a public sector environment.
Experience in identifying and selecting procurement strategies and options.
Hands on project experience leading IT re-platforming projects.
