As a risk management analyst, you assist with analysis, research and development activities for overseeing risk management.
You analyze and help diagnose issues and situations related to your field. You provide opinions in accordance with the rules of your discipline and help develop recommendations and implementation plans. You develop work tools, methods and processes. General Information on the Position
More specifically, as a data science analyst, you take part in developing credit risk management tracking models and tools and in developing the data required for this tracking.
Identify, input, analyze and interpret data to support management decision-making and risk management and supervision control processes. Make appropriate recommendations.
Contribute to the development of credit risk management tracking models and tools.
Contribute to development of data required for credit risk management tracking models and tools.
Analyze risks. Draft various reports and recommendations. Provide advisory support in implementing these recommendations.
Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with generally accepted rules and parameters.

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant experience
Master's degree or other type of graduate degree (an asset)

Knowledge of data and report operationalization
Knowledge of traditional statistical methodologies and machine learning
Proficiency with the following programming languages: SAS, Python and R
Skills in writing in-depth documentation, summaries and presentations that are tailored to the target audience
Knowledge of open source computer systems (an asset)
Intermediate spoken and written English skills
