Designation Home-basedBenefits to joining AllstateComplete Group Benefits Program customizable to your needsComprehensive Health and Wellness resourcesStrong Brand Recognition (listed as best Employer with Kincentric since 2012).Working within the community and giving back! for ongoing learning and career development.We work a 37.5 hour work weekAccountabilities:Function as a primary point of communication with Pembridge management, staff and brokers on all project related issues as required, within the context of their assigned workDetermine scope, resource requirements, task planning and assignment, budget and schedule management, project risk mitigation strategies and other measures as required by the assignment.Ensure all documentation requirements are met including Project Initiation forms, project plans and approvals, etc.Work with Pembridge management to create the project and resource plans as appropriate to successfully implement the assigned tasks.Work closely with Product Suite Owner and Product Owner to prioritize work, determine optimal path-forward and align with other Product Suites on cross-PS-initiativesDevelop, implement and maintain a project management discipline by:Sourcing and adopting evolving and established project management best practices where appropriate.Developing effective project outcome metrics to evaluate the success of individual projects.Advise in the allocation and management of Pembridge resource availability as it relates to project assignments.Provide the necessary guidance and planning expertise required by project team members to produce their task breakdowns and estimates.Review and recommend changes to various procedures and/or processes within Pembridge and Pafco Brand areas (examples but not necessarily limited to: EDI, underwriting workloads and workflows, PDF/edoc delivery, Broker connectivity etc.)Undertake projects as assigned by Director of Strategic Initiatives:Minimum of 5 years of P& C industry experiencePost Secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related disciplineCIP/CRM/RIBO or other insurance designationExposure to Agile methodologyProficient with MS Office Suite; MS Teams, ZoomInfluencing and relationship-building skills are criticalStrong organization, demonstrated ability to collaborate, and time management skillsHighly developed verbal and written communication skillsStrong Project Management skillsComplex decision-making and analytics skillsInquisitive mind-set: experience in problem solving and creative solutions to identify new opportunities to improve Brokers and customer experienceAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
