The Allstate Insights & Analytics team within Allstate Brand & Consumer Solutions collaborates with representatives across the department, leveraging data and analytics to recommend strategies and solutions that drive profitable growth and consumer centric innovation. The analyst is one with exceptional data manipulation and visualization skills, and an analytical mindset. This position reports to the Manager, Allstate Insights and Analytics. You will be accountable for supporting the achievement of ACG-s short and long term Mission, Vision, and Strategic Objectives. Designation: Hybrid 1-2 days in office.Benefits to joining AllstateComplete Group Benefits Program customizable to your needsComprehensive Health and Wellness resourcesStrong Brand Recognition (listed as best Employer with Kincentric since 2012).Working within the community and giving back! for ongoing learning and career development.We work a 37.5 hour work weekAccountabilities:Leveraging data and analytics by conducting detailed statistical analysis and effectively communicating insights to project stakeholders to support decision making; includingAnalyzingtrends to ensure tactical and strategical recommendations deliver expected results.Investigating, developing, and executing various marketing databases, which contain information on our customers, leads, prospects and using this information to inform effective management of our national and local marketing programs.Developing reports, dashboards and measurement tracking to support timely, and actionable information with the various department programs and initiatives, by:Devising and evaluating methods and procedures for collecting data, and/or obtaining existing data through collaboration with functional teams such as CRD& A, Operations Planning and Sales Compensation, and Operational Effectiveness.Developing a deep understanding of Allstate-s Data, Databases and KPIsRecommending, implementing and monitoring statistical models designed to measure, track and quantify effectivenessDeveloping and maintaining databases used to help drive and support business decisions by:Continuously ensuring data accuracy and consistencyCreating and managing a library of data (internal and external) to help bolster team capabilities and responsivenessEvaluating business processes, anticipating requirements and uncovering areas for improvement by:Seeking process improvements for reoccurring programs and initiativesIdentifying opportunities to implement various technologies and processes to improve operational effectivenessEnsuring detailed documentation is in place to enable efficient cross-training capabilities within the team:Education or equivalent working experience: Post-Secondary EducationExperience: Minimum 3 years working in an analytical capacityUnderstanding of the insurance industry and general insurance conceptsExceptional analytical and critical thinking skillsMust be able to analyze complex data with high accuracy, be open minded towards change, anticipate client needs and work with others to identify and resolve issuesMust be able to coordinate various priorities under time pressure and ensure alignment to corporate objectivesStrong communication (written and verbal), collaboration and relationship-building skillsDemonstrates working knowledge of database techniques including competency and proficiency in database query and spreadsheet developmentA thorough understanding of ACG-s databases is an assetAdvanced working experience using Tableau DesktopAdvanced level proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications such as Excel, Access (VBA and SQL knowledge)Experience using SAS is an assetAllstate Canada Group has policies and practices that provide workplace accommodations.
