Accounts Receivable Technician/ Job description: The Accounts Receivable Technician, reporting directly to the Accounts Receivable Manager, will be responsible for generating invoicing and credit notes for our clients. We are looking for an analytical and versatile person with experience notably in collection that will help us doing the follow-up on all our receivable transactions. Responsibilities: 1. Generatea high volume ofinvoices for Canadian, US and international customers (compare invoices against purchase orders and shipments) 2. Generate credit notes for Canadian, US and international customers 3. Apply customer payments to open invoices 4. Analyse billing information coming from distributors to insure proper and consistent billing toourcustomers; contact distributors accordingly to solve any discrepancies(price, quantities, etc.) 5. Send invoices accordingly throughElectronic Data Interchange systems (EDI), customers web portal,by email orbymail 6. Update and keep track of all receivable transactions in various accounting systems 7. Process daily credit card payments from customersand follow-up in writing 8. Manage tax certificates based on invoiced entities 9.
