Our company is currently seeking ​an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team! You will be responsible for processing customer cash and deductions along with follow up on invalid deductions. This is a contract position for 8 months, 3 days a week, and may extend to a year; must have SAP experience and CPG Company

Responsibilities:

• Retrieve remittance from customer’s portal and code deductions
• Contact customer for remittance if it is not available
• Apply cash and set up deductions through AS400
• Contact customer for deduction back up if it has not been provided
• Work with Sales department to validate the accuracy of customer deductions based on specific discount
• Clear deductions to appropriate plan number in Synectics and AS400
• Generate credit notes for damages, pricing and returns etc.
• Charge-back all invalid deductions and follow up for repayment with customers
• Maintain a filing system for customer agreements
• Maintain Compliance, Post Audit and Shortage tracker for month-end review
• Investigate all post-audit to determine if it is valid and follow up instantly
• File all deductions and credit notes by customer

Qualifications:

• Must have 5 years previous experience in accounts receivable, finance, or other related fields
• SAP Experience; AS400 system
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Strong organizational skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Excel spreadsheet skills – intermediate
