Job Description
We are a Public accounting office currently looking for an Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team . You will be responsible for all accounting cycle for variety of corporate small business clients You must have experience in bookkeeping, sales taxes, payroll taxes, preparation of financial statements,personal income tax and corporation income tax . Experience in another public accounting office (Office of CPA,CA) is a major asset. English and French is required. Need to be familiar with Quick book, Sage, office.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of cash disbursement , cash receipts, sales and general journal up to trial balance.
- Preparation of GST/QST and payroll report.
- Preparation of financial statements and year end file.
- Corporation and personal income tax.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years prior experience in accounting or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- English and French is Required
- Accounting certificate is required.
