Job Description

 

Accountant Assistant

Duties include:

– Preparing month end working papers and files for financial reporting

o   Bank reconciliation

o   Receivable reconciliation

o   Prepaid reconciliation

o   Payroll reconciliation

o   Payables reconciliation

– Report and file government remittances

o   Source deductions

o   GST

o   Non-residence Tax

o   PST

–          Weekly reporting financial reporting

–          Assist in payables and check runs

–          Assist in income statement analysis

–          Assist in financial projects as required

–          Assist in daily cash outs

–          Preparing year end working papers for audit purposes and financial reporting

–          Inventory 

o   Counting inventory

o   Adjusting inventory

o   Inventory analysis
