The Account Support Representative (ASR) position will be responsible for meeting and exceeding revenue targets for an assigned account territory consisting of a large collection of small business accounts. This individual will support the development of long term key business relationships at the operational levels with clients by positioning TELUS Health as a key component of the client’s business strategy. The primary areas of focus will include the retention of clientele, lead generation, and deal management and completion activities. Other responsibilities include day-to-day operational support for the account base and administrative duties as required. ASRs may also prospect new business and drive growth within existing small-business accounts. Here’s how Retain existing accounts through the contract renewal process Explain and recommend TELUS Health products and services to meet client needs Develop account plans and prepare/maintain weekly sales funnel Schedule client and prospective client meetings to promote TELUS Health service and products with 100% accuracy Up-sell and identify opportunities Accountable to support the TELUS Health Care Centers team for the growth and acquisition of revenues within assigned account base Prospect actively to uncover new opportunities to enhance client base within the account territory and work with the Account Managers and Account Executives to determine best approach Act as an advocate within TELUS to support the customer when dealing with service issues Support pre-sale solution trials through development and management of implementation support plans Support client moves, adds, changes and organic growth on account(s) for contract renewal and for potential sales opportunities Prepares costing estimates Initiates sales process Assist in development of strategic account plans and business plans Support Account Managers for assigned activities Initiation of hand-off documents, coordinating internal resources for data gathering, develops quotes, processing contracts, and delivering proposals for services and products, etc Maintain an accurate sales funnel management and sales forecasting You’re the missing piece of the puzzle Relationship building is a key skill of yours You are ultra-organized You enjoy the researching process when prospecting new clients You can spot potential with existing accounts, and find new ways of working together The phone is your friend, and you’re not afraid to pick it up and call clients to discuss their health, wellness and safety needs You can tailor a presentation deck to meet the needs of your client and their industry type You have the ability to view the sale from the client’s perspective Client’s trust you, and if they don’t today you have the aptitude to build a trust-based relationship with the client You have a solutions approach to selling, can identify the challenges of the client and propose ways TELUS Health can help You are bilingual – English and French – written and spoken Required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of successful sales/sales support experience, preferably in the health, wellness and safety industry Demonstrated experience managing solutions for a diverse clientele Consistent high performance against targets Evidence of selling and managing customer relationships Ability to perform well in a team environment Required Professional Designation/Certification: College diploma or university degree or equivalent experience Professional Sales certification(s) is a strong asset Great-to-have Experience with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools A bit about us Our business is connecting Canadians.
