The Gibson Group Account Manager demonstrates excellence in thought/brand leadership in all aspects of client service in the healthcare marketing field. The Account Manager is ultimately responsible for the management of projects from creating client brief to final outputs, proactively managing expectations, timing, costs and quality control throughout the project cycle. Supported by the Managing Director & Account Director, the Account Manager works closely with the design studio, copywriters and freelancers to manage workflow, deploy the tactical plan and oversee budget. The Account Manager helps solve issues and investigate strategic opportunities to help our client find growth. This role is in our Rx division with some opportunity to assist the OTC and Dental division when needed.

 

This individual will be a strategic thinker, driven, attentive to detail and passionate about completing deliverables efficiently and flawlessly.

 

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities

· Work with Account Director to lead the account, oversee relationships, create new business plans

· Develop strategically sound briefs

· Provide superior project management of day-to-day workflow

· Demonstrate leadership in client meetings including – setting objectives, managing timelines and client expectations

· Proactively pursue new opportunities within accounts

· Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients

· Meticulously drive execution processes through the agency (integrated disciplines)

· Work with clients to identify key challenges/opportunities that need to be addressed

· Use strong creative instincts and develop superior selling skills to ensure best possible strategic and creative solutions are chosen by client

· Accurately manage budgets, finances, and resources on a job-to-job basis

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Desired Skills, Traits and Experience

· Healthcare Agency Experience mandatory

· University or College Degree in Business, Marketing or Science and/or 3-5 years of industry-related experience

· Extremely organized and detail orientated, with experience managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Passionate about the medical healthcare marketing field.

· Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success

· Collaborative interpersonal skills. A person who shows respect and kindness to others, even in stressful situations.

· Strong oral and written presentation skills

· Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success

· Demonstrate an understanding of marketing in the digital space

· Knowledge of design and printing process

· Software fluency in the latest business/marketing programs including: Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel etc.), Google Sheets, Asana, Teams
