Job Description

We are seeking a Department Manager to join our team! You will be responsible for overseeing department staff and making sure that AB referrals are processed in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Accident Benefits department
  • Train and evaluate employees
  • Liaise with clients, lawyers and insurance adjusters
  • Track daily referrals to make sure that they are processed in a timely manner
  • Track approvals/rejections via Universal software/HCAI
  • Ensure that reports are received on time and that deadlines are met
  • Review new referrals and correspond with legal regarding best strategy to proceed
  • Meet quotes for OCF submissions, billing and revenue

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in an MVA based Assessment Centre
  • Proficiency with Universal Software and HCAI
  • Intimate knowledge of the SABS legislation
  • Understanding of Minor, Non-Minor and Catastrophic injuries
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
