Costs jobs and send out quotes using the new quote sheet.Create project timelines for incoming and quoted projects for timely delivery.Create quote scope based on MR and documents provided by customer.Document clarifications and exceptions in an organized manner.Provide detailed hand-off to Projects Team conveying accurate customer requirements once PO is awarded.Act as the Project Engineer for all small to mid-scale projects, momentum work and repair projects executed.Conduct kick-off meetings with customer to clarify scope.Build a good relationship with customer in order to resolve scope issues, and clarifications.Provide and recommend technical solutions to designs as required.Work alongside purchasing and scheduling to procure materials and execute fabrication for small to mid-scale projects, momentum work and repairs.Work alongside fabrication, rubber lining, and scheduling to resolve technical issues within small to mid-scale projects, momentum work and repairs projects in order to meet delivery dates.Create BOM and Routing for jobs.Maintain accurate records of quotes, projects, (RFQ Register & Salesforce) contacts and correspondence.Measurements:Timely response to both internal and external customersAccuracy of work and feedbackSupport provided to both the GM and Senior Sales & Product Manager Oil SandsHealth & Safety : Key Responsibilities & Requirements:Able to work in a manner that ensures the safety of themselves and othersAble to demonstrate compliance to company safety procedures and legal obligations Recognise and report and resolve hazards identifiedConfidence and ability to intervene on practices deemed to be unsafeEngage and promote a zero harm culture Be aware of physical limitations based upon job requirementsEducation/Experience:Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural or other relevant specialization) with either a Professional Engineering License (P Eng) or view to accrue the required hours toKnowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards, quality engineering, supplier management, SAP, Fiori and TACTICPrior exposure to industrial and slurry pump packages, piping systems and rubber lined piping systems would be considered as an advantage.Language:Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, engineering designs and procedure manuals. Ability to write detailed technical reports, presentations and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of 3rd party customers, suppliers, employees and management levels across the organization. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a high level of technical ability are required.Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability:Above average numerical skills to understand, interpret and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical engineering problems requiring innovative designs and/or solutions. Ability to solve complex practical problems and make independent decisions under minimal supervision. Ability to mentor and train less experienced colleagues on given area of expertise.Computer Skills:Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project & PowerPoint. Prior experience with AutoCAD, Unigraphics Siemens NX5 or other engineering design software required.Physical Demands:No abnormal physical demands are required by this position. Work Environment:The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet (office environment). In certain areas of the facility, personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required, including safety glasses, steel toed shoes, and ear plugs. In exceptional circumstances (e.g. visiting customer sites), the employee may be exposed to situations requiring additional safety equipment/training.
