We are hiring a Heavy Duty Truck and Transport Technician to join our highly skilled team. Our heavy equipment repair facility is a family owned and operated business located in Slave Lake Alberta, just a short 2.5-hour drive from Edmonton. With over 30 years of experience, our progressive shop offers a wide range of services including electronic engine diagnostic, engine over haul, general truck and trailer repair, and construction equipment repair. Serving industries such as heavy oil production, logging, transportation and the private sector, we are proud to be a certified Cummins, Caterpillar and International Harvester repair facility. The Oil & Gas and Forestry industries thrive on the richness of the area, providing a foundation for spinoff industries. A strong commercial and retail sector boasts many businesses and has attracted big box retailers which provide employment for many of the townspeople. This position is located in Slave Lake, AB. If the candidate does not live within 1 hour commuting distance from Slave Lake, AB. relocation would be necessary. Relocation Assistance offered. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications Journeyman certificate. Minimum 5 Years experience as a Heavy Equipment Technician 3rd or 4th Yr Journeyman Apprentices will also be considered Heavy Duty Truck and Transport Technician.
