Technology and Information Risk (TIR) The mission of the Technology and Information Risk (TIR) division is to deliver first-line defenses to manage risks to Firm technology, information and cyber threats through risk identification, control management and assurance. The TIR Montreal group is comprised of functions responsible for incident response, data loss prevention, eDiscovery and forensics, vulnerability management, penetration test management and security architecture. TIR Cyber Security Lead The TIR Cyber Security Lead is responsible for continuing the development of the organization in Montreal by delivering on talent needs and ensuring functional teams meet project commitments and deliverables. They are also expected to continue investing in our people to ensure that they have the tools to succeed and reach their maximum growth potential. In addition, the TIR Cyber Security Lead will be responsible for creating and leading a Security Data Access and Assurance function that provides oversight to the access and usage of data sets by security teams. This is a full time Executive Director (ED) position. Leadership Responsibilities -To provide local senior management oversight to 50 staff and act as an advocate for the local staff needs -To be a senior escalation point for Montreal organizational issues, partnering with department leads, team leads and management in Montreal, and global functional leads based in New York City. -To provide guidance to remote managers concerning the performance of the team on the ground -Partner with Human Resources on recruitment, new hire onboarding, employee retention management, compensation, and performance management. -To promote the Montreal office, its culture, and potential across the organization -Drive the TIR talent management and people agenda in Montreal including coaching and mentoring future leaders, training, and mobility. -Provides career support to local team members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks -Provides constructive feedback to global functional leads on team and individuals performance, and help implement positive change Functional Responsibilities -To establish and run a Security Data Access and Assurance function within TIR -To reduce risk to the cyber security division by reviewing entitlements and data access across highly sensitive information sources -Contribute to TIR management reporting -To participate on TIR’s Data Governance program -Partner with CISO and Risk Officers on reporting identified risks.
