Oversee and provide guidance to the personnel responsible for the organization’s portfolio of projects. Maintain the efficiency of important aspects of the project management process such as planning, scheduling, and budget and risk assessment.Key Accountabilities·Follow Linamar Project & Product Management methodology.·Manage Technical, cross-functional projects, in a matrix type environment·Manage 3 rdparty vendors.·Develop timelines for project through completion of implementation and monitor progress.·Evaluate project change requests and assess requests for system modifications.·Develop technical documentation as applicable to the project.·Test new systems and platforms and changes to existing ones.·Communicate proactively with all involved personnel to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions and implement efficiency improvements.Minimum Requirements·University degree in computer science, information sciences, or a related field.·PMI PMP certification or relevant courses required·ITIL knowledge is an asset·At least five years of experience managing infrastructure and network projects·Knowledge of MS Windows servers, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Azure, Virtualization, SharePoint·Knowledge of network protocols (i.e., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, HTTP, RDP, FTP, SIP, H323, SSH, multicast vs unicast)·Knowledge of phone systems (Avaya preferably) and conferencing systemsDesired Characteristics·Excellent documentation skills with a keen attention to detail·Strong verbal and written communication skills are a necessity·Able to problem solve and troubleshoot in a fast paced and demanding environment·Flexible and adaptableLinamar is committed to promoting accessible recruitment as outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
