Take a look at these videos to learn more about who we are and what we do!Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator works alongside Supply Chain Analysts to ensure that inbound purchase order logistics are communicated accurately to stakeholders, and expedites the delivery of purchase orders where necessary. Supports the Sales team by providing Purchase Order updates on an ‘on demand’ basis. Provides proactive communication as it relates to inventory levels, market condition and or quality concerns.Term Position.Works with the Supply Chain Analysts to track and confirm inbound purchase orders. Coordinates and arranges for Sunday/Special Receiving when necessary.Collaborates with the National Multi-Unit team to ensure that inventory to support customer promotional activities is in the warehouse at the right time, and the right quantity. Receives and distributes NMU spiff (inventory issues) reports and promotional demands.Collaborates with the Supply Chain team to ensure inventory for new customer launches and existing customers is at the best possible levels. Assists in stock assumptions/transfersResponsible for distributing Daily Purchasing Reports.Responds to inquiries concerning product delivery dates, late/lost orders. Participates in Supply Chain team meetings and contests.Assists the SCA in the managing of obsolete inventory, including Return to Vendors, COGS recovery, and NMU disposals.Assists the Sales and Supply Chain departments by initiating and managing Drop Shipments, Interbranch transfers and expedites as needed.Regularly checks for changes to PO’s through the use of the iTN portal. Informs the Supply Chain Analyst if necessary to ensure appropriate inventory levels are maintained. Liaisons with Regional Merchandisers, local Marketing dept and Supply Chain to facilitate new item parameters, product conversion requirements and requests item code status changes via Core Data.Creates and disseminates Inventory Management reporting on behalf of the Supply Chain team to assist in the management of Aged/Long stock, Slow Movers, Poor vendor performance. Communicates to key stakeholders for resolution.Provides regular communication to Sales regarding product issues, inventory levels, and product substitutions.Adheres to the Mission and Cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.Keeps up to date on market conditions, trends and developments through all the resources available. Education, Skills & Competencies:High School Diploma or General Equivalent Degree. Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Marketing preferred.Two years previous marketing, customer service or procurement experience with emphasis in product knowledge, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills. Must have good time management and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be results oriented and have excellent team skills.Knowledge of spreadsheet, email, presentation, and Supply Chain software applications.
