Are you a visionary and find excitment in creating opportunities to lead and enhance innovativeprograms that are inclusive and forward-thinking?This might be the opportunity for you…Position Overview:Working within the Health Services Department (Public Health) and reporting to the Manager, Chronic Disease and Injury Prevention (CDIP), you will support the Division’s mandate to deliver programs related to School Health and the Ontario Public Health Standards.You will supervise a multi-disciplinary team of public health nurses, health promoters, and administrative support. You will promote innovation and strategic thinking and guide this high functioning team as they support the Division’s focus on Supportive Environments for Mental well-being, Physical Activity and Healthy Eating. You will work in partnership with the program manager, school boards and other team supervisors.The team utilizes a Population Health Approach for school-aged children primarily in the school setting.
