Our companies have made a significant investment in sponsorship to create brand awareness across the country. The incumbent will play a key role in managing, activating and communicating, these sponsorships. This role is essential to leverage sponsorship assets at the local level to maximize our investment and amplify brand messaging. Success can be measured by an increase in brand awareness (as measured by annual brand tracking), and increased awareness of sponsorship initiatives with external and internal audiences.Accountabilities:Execution of sponsorship planAct as relationship manager with external business partnersWork with field office leadership and external partners to develop, promote and execute local eventsHelp plan and oversee activation and ensure ongoing management of assetsObtain feedback and measure success of each eventCompile post-event summary reportsProject managementTrack and deploy assets for signage, advertising, tickets, promotional items, etc.Work with production and design team to initiate asset requirementsMaintain a schedule of upcoming events, renewal deadlines, etc.Order and maintain advertising/marketing collateral, e.g., banners, posters, merchandiseCommunications planning/amplification of messagingWriting/managing communications for advertising and sponsorships announcements, and website postings, including banners Coordinating media advisory and release reviewsQualifications & Competencies:Post secondary education (either degree or diploma) in Sport and Event Marketing, Business Administration or related fieldExcellent organizational skills with the ability to effectively manageconflicting prioritiesAttention to detail and accuracy is criticalAbility to handle pressures of deadlines and high work volumesExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsHigh degree of fluency with Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat.Knowledge in setting up and maintaining SharePoint filesFamiliarity with design and print production processes would be an assetDiscover your opportunity….Apply today!Great-West Life offers competitive compensation, great benefits such as medical, dental, life insurance, wellness account and personal days not to mention onsite cafeteria and fitness facilities.
