Position Description: Enterprise Security Platforms (ESP) enables the Firm to manage risks by implementing proactive, comprehensive and consistent risk management practices which protect the franchise while facilitating business functions. The position is within the Level 3 Authentication and Identity Management (AIM) team, a global team of approximately 30 individuals (and growing) providing subject matter expert service levels to our internal technology customers and partners within the business. The position is for an individual who will serve as a site reliability specialist focused on changes across our DMZ security plant. The candidate should be familiar with enterprise security and have hands on experience administering security infrastructure. The candidate will work closely with both engineering and operations teams to achieve their goals. We are looking for a Mid-level to Senior-level Security site reliability specialist with a deep understanding of enterprise infrastructure. This role is tasked to providing highest level of security consultancy and operational stability of our security infrastructure solutions which are DMZ focused. The role is based around operational stability and development of a large global environment of more than 70,000 Linux Servers, 10,000 Microsoft Windows servers and 85,000 Desktops. Responsibilities: – Working across engineering and operations teams, provide consultancy services and expert support for infrastructure deployments within the Firm’s DMZ environment. – Identify areas for automation and input advice on implementation. – Work with global engineering and operations colleagues to create and maintain globally consistent processes, policies and procedures and provide innovative ideas. – As DMZ subject matter experts, aid in investigation & troubleshooting as necessary to resolve escalated incidents involving security-focused services quickly. – Provide constructive feedback where necessary while working with colleagues Company Profile Morgan Stanley is a global financial services firm and a market leader in investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services.
