This role requires a true team player and initiator who can effectively manage multiple facets within our specific niche need of Project Management fundamentals, to ensure results that are consistently delivered on time and in high quality. It is integral that you consistently display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of expertise.The Senior Platforms and Solutions Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities involved in the execution phase of online research projects or case problems within our Operations team, using our proprietary cloud-based customer intelligence platformKato. As a Senior Platform and Solutions Manager, your main focus will be on providing exceptional customer service while you manage customized quantitative market research projects for our clients. You will often be called on to process refine, lead initiatives, act as mentor to juniors across departments surrounding both technical and client service expertise.You will interact closely with both internal and external stakeholders to determine their specific needs and to ensure that each project and request is tailored to meet those needs, on time and on budget. The typical life cycle of your projects will range anywhere from 24 hours, 2 weeks or months, and you will often have 10-12 active projects in process at any given time that are in a variety of high-profile or new tech project types employing various market research methodologies and principles.The primary function of execution for these studies involves consultation/data gathering, survey design/review, then translating these with authoring to programming of these online surveys (via Kato), administering and management of online data collection, field monitoring, data analysis/reporting and overall budget control.Additional expectations would be contribution to department initiatives focusing on scalability, process refinement, and product enhancement while still maintaining world-class customer service. This would be in the form of documentation review and creation, scrum shares across other disciplines, intranet contribution and cross-office video conference presentations to name a few.Responsibilities:Management and implementation of mutli-disciplinary and/or methodology online research projects for various internal and external clients; mobile and social media online research an assetCoordinate with various internal departments in order to complete projects on time while maintaining strict qualityMonitor and report on progress throughout the life of a project to ensure deliverables, budgets and timelines are met and risks/issues are proactively addressedCreate and operate surveys in HUB and Kato platformProgram low to medium complexity online surveys to internal and external clients using survey creation platformsChampion significant projects, programs and business initiatives using demonstrated creativity, time management and communication skillPerform and help streamline standardized check points for each study to ensure that programmed questionnaires are getting at the right issues, achieving client insight objectives and to ensure continuous logic and flow of study as client changes are made over time. Raise issues to manager as appropriate. Train and mentor staff/ sharing knowledge without being askedServe as a resource to clients, suppliers and team members to resolve routine and complex questions. This will span into both project execution needs and/or high-level account management needsContribute and/or be SME of core product offerings, key accounts/verticals and/or new product testing /developmentContribute to other team members in the Operations team to ensure that daily utilization is maximized in full and work-life balance across the department is stableUnderstand and fulfill advanced authoring and programming within our platformRequirements:Knowledge of market research and software industriesKnowledge of sample frameworks, designs and performance in the context of online research and social mediaCompleted University Degree or equivalent post-secondary education; marketing, IT, and/or business is an assetHigh level of proficiency with the Internet and MS Office applications, particularly ExcelDemonstrated superior Project Management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any one time within tight timelinesDemonstrated high level of customer service or account management with internal and external customersMinimum 2-3 year project and client management experience requiredHave scripting knowledge and experience with survey programming and reporting is an asset in at least one of the following languages: C#, C++, Lua, Java.
