What you will do as a Senior Manager in Workplace Strategy and Innovation:Leading and coordinating workplace strategy engagements of varied sizes and complexity.Leading engagement efforts in defining scope, planning, executing and reporting to Clients;Conducting user research to drive workplace strategies, identify change management initiatives;Working within scope and budget, ability to think on your feet for value engineering;Analysing complex issues and conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to determine desired outcome; Translating behavioural and work process requirements into appropriate spatial concepts;Ensuring the client comes first and deliverables are impeccable.Own strategic initiatives and understand how they align with the overall business objectives of Colliers Advisory Services, and the delivery of our services to clients;Understand, monitor and report on key indicators including financial and schedule metrics for all engagements under your leadership;Identify and develop business opportunities and industry involvement with your established networkBuild industry awareness and market reputation of Colliers Advisory Services and proactively identify consulting opportunities through your established network;Work with and across Colliers Services Platform including Project Leaders, Brokerage, Capital Markets and REMS to deliver large scale programs.Provide support to develop more junior team mates.What you will need to be successful:Direct Workplace Strategy and Change Management experience including but not limited to – knowing the differences between the types of working environments (flexible, agile, ABW), industry and industry vertical nuances, and most aspects listed in the Responsibilities section above;Possess an understanding of human behaviours and how they impact organizational design and have a general understanding of how this is translated into the physical design of space. Ability to translate the workplace strategy to a design professional to maintain the integrity of the strategy is imperative;A team-oriented mind-set and be as comfortable working alone as working with a broader team;A proven track-record communicating at an executive level, both excellent written and oral command of the English language is essential;Honed presentation and facilitation skills;Be proactive in identifying opportunities to develop new collateral or enhanced tools for our consulting practice to be used with our clients;Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Word; working knowledge of Excel, SharePoint;Ability to work with little direction and with ambiguous situations;Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills;Ability to read either CAD or .pdf floor plans effectively;A positive outlook and desire to tie a little fun into each day;Ability to work under pressure and maintain your cool.The ability to speak or have working knowledge of another language would be desirable.An understanding Adobe InDesign, Illustrator beneficial;Understanding of the end to end delivery of a corporate real estate project.Qualifications:Minimum 7 years on-the-ground-experience in this fieldA Bachelor’s degree or higher in the Social Sciences such as Organizational Behaviour, Anthropology, Urban Planning, Real Estate, Business Administration, Design or Architecture or the equivalent in working experience;Certifications such as a MCR, MCR.w, SLCR, CMC, or LEED are desirable.A portfolio of past workplace strategic plans and change management initiatives required.What we offer:A dynamic working environment where the sky is the limit on what you can create and flexibility in how and where you work, recognizing that needs are individual.A focus on helping you to identify and use your strengths to do your best work every day.
