Join our team As a Senior Learning Specialist on the Enablement & Events team in Channel – Training & Events, you will be responsible for the ecosystem that supports learning for the Corporate Stores channel: TELUS & Koodo. Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together To be successful, you will effectively manage large complex learning projects that deliver critical skills and knowledge to the Corporate Stores channel. You will collaborate with stakeholders and internal clients to develop holistic end to end enablement plans. You have stellar stakeholder management skills which allow you to prioritize multiple competing interests to align with strategic goals. You must have the ability and confidence to collaborate regularly with colleagues and business unit leaders nationwide. Your detail-oriented approach is strengthened by your ability to correlate to the bigger picture. You have an aptitude for planning and demonstrate a bias for action. Here’s how Act as a project management consultant for the Channel – Training & Events team Lead project teams to manage large complex training projects Collaborate with stakeholders to build training program execution plans that efficiently & effectively deliver critical skills & knowledge to the Corporate Stores channel Effectively plan, measure and manage t raining related execution activities Collaborate with Channel – Training & Event team members to build appropriate training schedules and budgets Measure and report on progress to overall training goals and targets Develop detailed project work plans and execute based on approved deliverables and timelines Evaluate project success based on measurable objectives You’re the missing piece of the puzzle Project Management acumen Go-to-Market (GTM) and/or retail operations experience Account and/or vendor management experience Familiarity with Adult Learning Principles Strategic Thinker: Uses broad knowledge and perspective of the business and industry when building strategies Able to articulately paint credible pictures and visions of possibilities and likelihoods when selling strategy to the Vice President (VP) & Senior Vice President (SVP) level Able to create breakthrough strategies and plans Able to create a clear, tactical path to strategy realization for project teams Business Acumen: Uses current and projected business metrics, pain points, industry trends and competitive information to create forward looking strategies that evolve with the business Creates and presents metric-based assessments for training strategies for VP levels reviews that include both current state and forward looking forecasts Seen as a trusted member of senior cross-functional teams to build strategies that impact business goals Project Management: Leads high-profile projects that include a project manager/project team Provides vision, coaching and support to the project team Influences non-training related deliverables for cross-functional channel projects Projects can be the catalyst for new ongoing programs and influence existing programs, architecture or systems Community Leader: Member of the leadership team Provides formal coaching and mentorship to the team Widely trusted as a community leader and expert amongst cross-functional and industry peer groups Able to present the truth in an appropriate and helpful manner 10 years of combined experience as a learning professional, account manager, marketing/product/trade marketing manager, account manager, and/or project manager Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office and Google G-Suite for Work Occasional travel Great-to-have Bilingualism in English & French Who is TELUS?
