If you are a business savvy Finance professional looking to collaborate on key projects, gain nationwide exposure and significantly impact a business, the opportunity below just might be for you The Senior Financial Analyst provides critical analysis support for the site, which includes the preparation of financial reports, annual operating plans, and existing commercial activities. He or she helps develop financial models for longterm strategic planning, identify general shortterm objectives, and conduct business development, and works to improve the structure of internal reports and financial analyses. The financial analyst makes recommendations to support managements decisionmaking process. MAIN DUTIES Strategic responsibilities Develop a thorough understanding of Keurig Green Mountains business landscape, including its competitors, financial objectives, and key factors for success; Promote continuous improvement to improve organizational processes and generate better business results; Collaborate on various process improvement projects; Ensure that Keurig complies with the law as well as Keurigs internal governance and ethics policies, procedures, and standards . Operational responsibilities Support managements decisionmaking process as well as that of his or her immediate supervisor by providing financial analyses and relevant recommendations; Reconcile accounts for financial analysis purposes; Intervene in the financial process to standardize operational and decisionmaking processes with an overall view to simplification; Prepare financial models and analyses; Align the plants projection schedule and support processes with those of the Finance Department; Update or replace financial models using the companys many databases Help prepare the annual operating plan and participate in longterm planning through interviews, analyses, documentation, and reports; Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and helping develop business processes and key indicators to make it easier to monitor progress; Implement and, if necessary, improve the internal control process. Leadership Collaborate with management and colleagues from other departments; such as Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources; Set annual objectives and evaluate them on a quarterly basis; Coordinate efforts to keep the job description uptodate; Conduct an annual performance evaluation; Attend regular finance and supply chain meetings. QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Bachelors degree in finance or accounting with CPA designation Three (3) to five (5) years relevant experience in the financial, consumer goods, or retail sectors; Working knowledge of common financial tasks (budgeting, projections, planning, analysis, and model preparation) for publicly traded companies in the consumer goods sector is an asset; Proficiency in financial analysis; Team spirit, selfmotivation, and ability to work alone or with teams from all over the continent; Good organizational and prioritysetting skills coupled with a strong ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously; Ability to communicate in both French and English; Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate with senior management and provide guidance to management at all levels; A resultsbased approach and ability to solve complex problems and build solid working relationships; Thorough knowledge of accounting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); Proficiency in Excel (including Subtotal, Filter, and Sorting and Search functions and the creation of pivot tables) and other Office suite software and ability to model business needs and prepare scenario analyses; Ability to enforce safety standards, participate in continuous process improvement, and comply with best manufacturing practices; Punctuality, interpersonal skills, and respect for rules.
