We’re looking for an Oracle expert that complements our team and would act as a key player as we migrate to AWS.Collaborate across development, marketing, and shared services teams to deliver on the data needs of the businessSupport the transition of legacy data processes to a new analytics cloud solutionEstablish and follow processes that facilitate high quality and reliabilityActive contributor to technical design discussions and decisions with senior members of the teamDevelopment of stored procedures using PL/SQL as well as development of DML, DDL, and ETL scriptsProgrammatic manipulation of XML and other data stored as CLOBsDesign object model, logical and physical database designsCreate entity relationship and UML object modelingBuilding and operating high availability and scalability database solutions including replication in multiple environmentsRun and interpret performance benchmarkingTroubleshoot and resolve issues revealed when testing and operating at scale.We are looking for proven competency in the following core technical areas:Oracle 9i/10G/11G/12C Database including advanced PL/SQLRDS in AWSGolden GateData GuardTools including Vertica, Informatica, Business ObjectsSome experience or exposure to NoSQL database solutionsAdditionally, the successful candidate will have:Passion for being at the leading edge of technology with 5+ years of database engineering experience3+ years of experience building highly available, scalable multi-tiered web-facing applicationsSolid understanding of logical and physical database design preferably with experience designing in AWSHigh energy, self-starter with a positive mindset and with a ”can do” attitudeBachelor”s degreeExcellent verbal and written communicationsExcellent time management skills
