The Security Officer is responsible for the safety and security of guests, employees, and the hotel property.
Must perform regular security walk throughs of interior/exterior of hotel; know hotel emergency procedures and where all emergency shut-offs are located and have the ability to assist hotel guests when necessary in case of an emergency.
Also must be able to diplomatically/appropriately deal with guest disturbances and prepare required reports of security incidents.
Long hours, many spent standing or walking, required. Light work, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
