Scheduler Location: Fort McMurray Job Code: 2396 Available: 1 Description Company Profile: DCM Inc. is a construction management company managing the execution of a conglomerate of affiliated construction contractors. We are currently executing several major projects, and are continuing to expand our presence throughout Canada. We are looking for skilled and dynamic Scheduler to help us build a variety of competencies. Functions and duties: Responsible for the planning and scheduling of the routine mechanical maintenance activities to be performed in the Upgrading and Utility Units. Create & maintain high level milestone schedule. Review & amend P6 rules for populating the TA schedule. Identify resource requirements for effective schedule development & maintenance. Produce and maintain “Scheduling Strategy” document. Perform other associated duties as assigned. Review all outstanding work orders in Maximo, and maintain a list of workable work orders Assemble final work packs Support from routine maintenance and project execution. Primary accountability is to gather and amalgamate all mechanical maintenance activities including emergency, urgent and routine work orders, schedule and critical path. Data entry / import of detail job plans and estimates into scheduling tool. Design the schedule data to allow the easy extraction of the reports. Create logical network of activities and, ultimately, a critical path of work and schedule, without overly constraining the schedule.
