Sales Analyst


Overview

The Role:

The Sales Analyst reports directly to the Key Account Manager and assists both the Ontario, West, and National Gatorade sales team on internal & external deliverables to achieve PBC’s volume, profit and share targets. The role performs critical analysis of data and collaborates cross-functionally to provide accurate P&L visibility through forward-looking forecasting and post event reconciliation

Responsibilities

What you’ll be working on:

  • Primary support financial forecasting models for Freshco DSD business & Sobeys Gatorade DWD (Deal Doc’s, SAP TPM, etc).
  • Financial & reconciliation support including trade spend management & deductions, business reviews and period end reporting.
  • Category analytical support to KAMs through syndicated research (AC Nielsen, IRI, etc.)
  • Management of innovation listings with Sobeys Procurement.
  • Special projects as directed by the KAMs & Sr. Director of Sales.
  • Qualifications

    Who’s a good fit for the team:

  • University degree, preferably in the area of business/finance or a related discipline
  • Superior analytical skill
  • Strong bias towards action
  • Solid project/time management and organizational skills; detail oriented
  • High proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint), Nielsen, Precima
  • Experience managing financial databases and generating reports
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong team building/collaborative relationship skills
  • Proven problem solving ability
  • At times, expanded time requirements outside of the normal work week to deliver within deadlines
