As a Merchandiser you implement the planograms for the gift shops. You support the annual promotional calendar and the delivery of new programs to the shops. You merchandise new stock, working with merchandisers to maintain the planogram vision, coaching shipboard staff in loss prevention and correct retail practices, polices, and procedures. You analyze data from a variety of sources to maximize financial objectives. You assist with special projects. You have strong sales and communication skills, are self–motivated, can work independently, and can work well in a team environment under pressure. You can coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks. Overall you are customer–focused and results-oriented.You have a Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent and have relevant courses in Merchandising. You have 3-5 years customer service experience, preferably in a retail setting, including 2-3 years of merchandising and display experience preferably in a giftware and apparel environment as a company merchandiser, and 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience in an A volume store, preferably in apparel and giftware.
